Since its opening as Customs Academy in 1977, CHRDI has been making contributions to the growth of the Republic of Korea as a top 10 global trading economy by nurturing customs professionals to support the national economy.

We, CHRDI, support the development of expertise and enhance future capabilities of 5,600 customs officials and related workers in order to secure national revenues, prevent the entry of goods harmful to public health and social safety.

With such tireless efforts, CHRDI has been recognized multiple times as a top-notch training academy for public officials. In addition, since it was designated as a Regional Training Center of the World Customs Organization in 2010, we share excellent customs capacities with international customs officials.

With the sense of honor and pride as a major player in building customs talent on the global stage, we will continue to be dedicated to nurturing future talent who will lead customs administration in response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and changes in the digital environment.
